Gas/Water Detectors, Refrigerators, UPS, etc
Fort Digital Terminal can be connected to various devices such as gas detectors, water leakage detectors, refrigerators, UPS systems, water pumps, and any other equipment that provides dry contact or 5V–30V relay output. When an event occurs and the contact or relay is triggered, the terminal will immediately detect the signal and automatically send out SMS alerts to the predefined mobile numbers.
Terms of Use
Terms and Conditions of Use: By purchasing, installing, connecting, activating or using the Fort Digital Industrial Sensors Alert Dry Contact System, digital-input module, mobile application, cloud platform or related services (“System”), the customer acknowledges and agrees that the System is provided solely as a supplementary remote-monitoring and notification tool and is not a certified fire alarm, gas alarm, medical, emergency, machinery-protection, automatic-shutdown, process-control or life-safety system, and must never replace any legally required alarm, safety device, inspection, supervision, redundancy or emergency procedure. Fort Digital does not manufacture, control or warrant any connected third-party equipment, sensor, UPS, generator, pump, freezer, PLC, alarm panel or output signal, and references to brands, models or equipment types indicate potential interfacing only—not guaranteed compatibility, endorsement or certification; actual compatibility, voltage, polarity, signal type, wiring, isolation and operating logic must be independently verified before connection by a suitably qualified technician, and the System must never be connected directly to mains electricity or any signal outside its specified limits. Status readings, event logs, update intervals and alerts may be inaccurate, delayed, duplicated, incomplete or unavailable due to incorrect wiring or configuration, defective third-party equipment, contact bounce, signal incompatibility, power or battery condition, SIM card or data-plan issues, mobile-network coverage, internet or cloud outages, phone settings, third-party services, maintenance, interference, tampering or circumstances beyond Fort Digital Pte Ltd’s reasonable control; therefore, the absence of an alert or an indicated “normal” status must never be treated as confirmation that equipment or premises are safe. The customer is solely responsible for professional installation, testing every channel and alert path before use and periodically thereafter, selecting correct NO/NC logic and thresholds, maintaining power, battery, SIM service and connectivity, securing accounts and QR codes, independently verifying every critical condition, complying with all applicable electrical, fire-safety, workplace-safety, privacy and regulatory requirements, and taking appropriate action without relying solely on the System. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fort Digital Pte Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors and suppliers shall not be liable for any fire, flood, gas leak, equipment failure, spoilage, production loss, outage, accident, injury, death, property damage, regulatory breach, business interruption, lost profit or data, incorrect status, or missed, delayed or failed alert, nor for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss arising from or connected with the System, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise; where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, Fort Digital’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer to Fort Digital for the affected device during the twelve months preceding the claim. The customer shall indemnify and hold Fort Digital harmless against all claims, losses, penalties, costs and legal expenses arising from improper installation, wiring, configuration, maintenance, unauthorised modification or use of the System. Except for any written limited hardware warranty expressly issued by Fort Digital and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the System is supplied “as is” and “as available”; Fort Digital may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature or service where reasonably necessary, and these terms are governed by Singapore law, with the Singapore courts having exclusive jurisdiction.
