Advance Scripting
Fort Digital can further customize and program advanced scripting logic based on your specific operational requirements. For example, in a real live case study, once a gas detector sends a signal to the terminal, the system first sends an SMS alert to Group 1. If none of the recipients replies “OK” within 120 seconds, the system automatically escalates the alert by sending an SMS to Group 2, and if there is still no acknowledgment after another 120 seconds, the alert is finally sent to Group 3, ensuring proper escalation and accountability.
Alert to 3 Groups of Mobile Numbers
Fort Digital customizes the firmware to enable automatic alert notifications to 3 different groups when triggered by your equipment, such as gas detectors, UPS systems, refrigerators, pumps, and others.
Once triggered, the system will first send an SMS alert to Group 1. If there is no “OK” reply within 30 seconds, it will automatically escalate and send a second SMS to Group 2. If there is still no reply after another 30 seconds, the alert will then be sent to Group 3.
The moment any recipient replies with “OK,” the escalation process stops immediately and no further messages will be sent to the remaining groups. This ensures that someone acknowledges the alert in all scenarios and that every critical event receives timely attention.
Self Update Mobile Numbers via SMS
You can now update the Groups’ Mobile Numbers without needing to call us. All changes can be done directly via SMS command.
To change mobile number:
groupX,pin,mobile_numbers
Example: group1,1234,+6593365219 +6581515000
Explanation:
group1 = The group name you want to modify (group1, group2, or group3)
1234 = Security PIN. If the PIN is incorrect, the change will not be applied. The PIN can also be changed via SMS.
+6593365219 +6581515000 = The mobile number(s) to set, separated by a space
After sending this SMS, if the PIN is correct, the system will update the database and automatically reply with the latest values.
Other SMS commands:
To change PIN:
pin,old_pin,new_pin
Example: pin,1234,4567
To change the waiting time between Group1, Group2, and Group3 alert SMS:
wait,pin,waiting_time_in_seconds
Example: wait,1234,60

Fort Digital Terminal can be connected to various devices such as gas detectors, water leakage detectors, refrigerators, UPS systems, water pumps, and any other equipment that provides dry contact or 5V–30V relay output. When an event occurs and the contact or relay is triggered, the terminal will immediately detect the signal and automatically send out SMS alerts to the predefined mobile numbers.
