Introductions

The idea of this system is to Broadcast SMS to a group of people in the Fastest way possible and Track their Replies.

Very useful for companies with Business Continuity Planning (BCP).

The recipients will be able to Reply to acknowledge that they have already received the message and are aware of the situation.

The system will then automatically Track and Compare who has replied and who hasn’t. The company will know who did not respond and maybe send a second time or call them to make sure they are aware of what’s happening.

The good part of this system is tracking Acknowledgment Replies and knowing who hasn’t replied. Imagine if you have to do it manually; there is no such time during an emergency.

How it Works

Dedicated Receiving Number

Fort Digital will provide a Singapore Local Number such as +65 82 666 798. This number will be exclusively yours, not shared with anybody. You can send the SMS using a Name Sender ID like “NIKE”; however, they can’t reply to that message since there is no number associated with it. Hence, you need to indicate the Reply Mobile Number in the Content of the Message. Or, just change the Sender ID to your Reply Mobile Number, and the recipient will be able to reply to that message quickly.

Emergency Send

A shortcut way to do a broadcast, but you must create Groups, Contacts, and Templates before sending. The best is just to use Quick Send below.

Quick Send

The fastest way you can start to broadcast. Just Copy & Paste Mobile Numbers and Send. You can copy and paste up to 200,000 Numbers at one time go. The system will Auto Clean Up: Duplicates Numbers, Symbols, And Alphabets, Add Default Country Code and Remove 0 In Front Of Numbers, If Any. You can also set Schedule Jobs. Can Filter against Unsubscribe/Black List Database.

Upload Send

Prepare your data in CSV (Column A: Mobile Number, Column B: Full Message) and Upload it to the portal; the system will auto convert each line into SMS. Each line can have different message content, and you can also set Schedule Jobs.

Normal Send

Send to Groups and Contacts that you prepared before. Can send Personalized SMS (Mail Merge). Can Filter against Unsubscribe/Black List Database.

Wait for Replies and Track Who Replied and Who Doesn’t

Go to Tracking Page; here, you will see all the logs, who you Sent to, and who has Reply back. You can see the Replied Message and the time they replied. Refresh the page to get the latest data. You can Download verities of Reports as well for further analysis. You can also Resend to those who have not replied.

SBO License and SGNIC Approved Aggregator

Beware of SMS Companies without SBO (Service Based Operators) Licensed by IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore) and Not Registered as Approved Aggregator by SGNIC (Singapore Network Information Centre). To operate and run SMS Services in Singapore, a company must have SBO License. Many SMS companies are operating without SBO Licenses, Local or International. Not only it’s illegal and against the law, but you are also jeopardizing your database security. Your Database will circulate the world and might end up on anybody’s server. Your messages will not be re-sent if they fail after the first attempt. No Data Encryptions. Non-Compliance to PDPA / PDPC (Personal Data Protection Act 2012). Midnight jobs, your SMS will not be prioritized and queued at Local Telco’s server; hence the message might reach the recipient in the wee hours.
