Email to SMS (Sending SMS via Email)

This scenario is where you want to send SMS via Email. This is a very straightforward service; we will provide you with an email account; for example, email@fortdigital.com.sg, and to send an SMS, you need to send an email to the address:

Subject of Email: +6593365219 (this is the recipient number, use ; separator for multiple recipients)

Body/Content of Email: Hallo (this is the SMS content)

The email will reach email@fortdigital.com.sg inbox, then be converted to SMS and sent to +6593365219 with the content of the message “Hallo”.

SMS to Email (Receive SMS via Email)

This is the scenario where you want to receive SMS via Email. It is a very straightforward service where we will host a number example, +6593365219, in our Data Centre. Every incoming SMS sent to this number will be forwarded Automatically to your email address (can have multiple cc email recipients). We can customize the email fields to suit your needs.

Email Triggering and Other Scenario

This scenario is where we can set certain conditions where an Email sent/received contain specific keywords that will trigger SMS. Or SMS received with different content will forward to different email accounts. And many more scenario depends on your needs; contact us and tell us your requirement; we most likely already have what you need.

Beware of SMS Companies without SBO (Service Based Operators) Licensed by IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore) and Not Registered as Approved Aggregator by SGNIC (Singapore Network Information Centre). To operate and run SMS Services in Singapore, a company must have SBO License. Many SMS companies are operating without SBO Licenses, Local or International. Not only it’s illegal and against the law, but you are also jeopardizing your database security. Your Database will circulate the world and might end up on anybody’s server. Your messages will not be re-sent if they fail after the first attempt. No Data Encryptions. Non-Compliance to PDPA / PDPC (Personal Data Protection Act 2012). Midnight jobs, your SMS will not be prioritized and queued at Local Telco’s server; hence the message might reach the recipient in the wee hours. Fake Reports and inaccurate SMS Status will lead to confusion and disruption of the company’s operation.
