Object in field
This VCA detects whether an object is present inside a defined area. As long as the object remains inside the zone, the camera considers it active. Real-life use: Detect a vehicle parked in a no-parking zone, a car stopped at a loading bay, or a person standing inside a restricted area.

Entering field
This VCA triggers when an object enters a defined area from outside. It focuses only on the moment of entry. Real-life use: Detect a vehicle entering a car park, a person entering a shop, or someone stepping into a secured zone.

Leaving field
This VCA triggers when an object exits a defined area. It focuses on the moment an object leaves.
Real-life use: Detect vehicles exiting a car park, people leaving a building, or assets being removed from a storage area.

Crossing line
This VCA detects when an object crosses a virtual line and can identify direction. It is very accurate and event-based. Real-life use: Vehicle IN and OUT counting at car park entrances, people flow direction tracking, lane monitoring, or traffic movement analysis.

Counter
This VCA counts objects as they pass through a line or area and maintains total numbers. Real-life use: Count total vehicles per day, measure footfall in retail stores, track visitor volume at events, or generate traffic statistics.

Occupancy
This VCA tracks how many objects are currently inside a defined area in real time. Real-life use: Live car park occupancy display, room capacity monitoring, crowd control in malls, or meeting regulatory capacity limits.

Loitering
This VCA detects when an object stays in an area longer than a defined time threshold. Real-life use: Identify suspicious loitering near ATMs, detect people lingering outside shops, or monitor vehicles parked too long in sensitive zones.

Following route
This VCA checks whether an object follows or deviates from a predefined path. Real-life use: Detect wrong-way driving, ensure vehicles follow correct lanes, enforce restricted movement routes in factories or airports.

Idle object
This VCA detects objects that become stationary for a period of time. Real-life use: Detect abandoned luggage, stopped vehicles on roads, broken-down cars, or objects left unattended.

Removed object
This VCA detects when a previously stationary object disappears from the scene. Real-life use: Theft detection, asset removal alerts, missing equipment monitoring, or security breach detection.

Condition change
This VCA detects changes in the scene’s conditions such as lighting or environment. Real-life use: Detect lights being switched off, environmental changes, or abnormal scene variations that may affect operations or security.

Similarity search
This VCA allows searching for objects similar to a selected reference based on appearance. Real-life use: Forensic investigations, searching for similar vehicles or people after an incident, post-event analysis.

Tampering
This VCA detects camera interference such as covering, moving, or blurring of the lens. Real-life use: Alert when a camera is vandalized, blocked, rotated, or intentionally disabled.
